About ABS-CBN
ABS-CBN, known as "The Kapamilya Network", is a Philippine broadcast network and former free-to-air network. Its studios and headquarters are located in Sgt. Esguerra Ave. cor. Mother Ignacia St., Quezon City. It serves as the flagship property of ABS-CBN Corporation, a company under Lopez Holdings Corporation owned by the López family. The network is commonly referred to as "The Kapamilya Network", using the Filipino term for "family", a branding introduced in 1999 and officially used since 2003. On May 5, 2020, ABS-CBN went off the air due to the non-renewal of the network's franchise; its programs were temporarily migrated to Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and TV5.
